How To Use Your Scent Triggers

Scent Trigger 1 – Honor (Energy Booster)

  • Top notes: Bergamot, Lemon & Petitgrain Citrus; Ozone; Pepper Spice; Herbal Cypress & Schinus Molle; Neroli Floral.
  • Heart notes: Nutmeg Spice; Jasmin, Geranium, & Orange Blossom Florals; Herbal sage.
  • Base notes: Woody Patchouli, Amber & Sandalwood; Musk; Leather; Olibanum; Mossy.
  • Longevity: 4+ Hours
  • Projection: 12 Inches
  • Ingredient Oils: Olibanum, Sage, Patchouli, Nutmeg, Black Pepper, Schinus Mole, Petitgrain, Orange, & Lemon oils.

Honor is a fresh, clean, crisp fragrance that’s easy to wear all year round. It’s a perfect scent for warmer weather, a hot summer’s day, or a simple day in the office. Honor is the lightest of our three fragrances – that means you’ll get around 4 hours of scent development throughout the day. To get the most out of each use, I advise 2-3 sprays on the chest area, 1-2 sprays on each arm, and 1-2 sprays on the back of your neck.

Double-up on those sprays to increase longevity to around 6-7 hours. That’s 4-6 sprays on the chest area, 2-4 sprays on each arm, and 2-4 sprays on the back of your neck. Don’t overthink it, Gents – this increased use isn’t going to cause your fragrance to smell overpowering. As I previously mentioned, Honor is the lightest scent you’ll find in your Mission Fragrance collection – so feel free to spray it on a bit more generously than you might with a heavier fragrance.

Scent Trigger 2 – Courage (Creativity Amplifier)

  • Top notes: Galbanum; Lemon, Grapefruit, Petitgrain, & Mandarin Citrus.
  • Heart notes: Lemongrass; Lavender, Lavandin, Neroli, Geranium, Violet, Orange Blossom, & Iris Florals; Plum & Pineapple Fruits.
  • Base notes: Mossy; Musk; Sandalwood.
  • Longevity: 5+ Hours
  • Projection: 12 Inches
  • Ingredient Oils: Lemon, Grapefruit, Lemongrass, Galbanum, Violet, Petitgrain, Neroli, Lavender., Mandarin Oils.

Out of the three Mission Fragrance scents in our collection – Courage is the one I’d class as a “no brainer”. It’s easily our most versatile fragrance with its crisp, floral, and aromatic notes. Wear it at the weekend, while at the office, or even while trying to make a great first impression on a casual date night.

With a longevity of 5+ hours, Courage comes in a little stronger than Honor. As such, I recommend sticking to 2-3 sprays on your chest, 1 spray on each arm, and 1-2 sprays on the back of your neck. This fragrance is carefully formulated so that you can apply it after wearing Honor in the morning. Remember Gents – layering fragrances like this is great for variety but can be tricky to pull off if you’re not careful with your timings. Make sure you give 4-5 hours of separation between applying the fragrances.

Scent Trigger 3 – Commitment (Mood Enhancer)

  • Top notes: Mimosa, Myrrh, Vanilla, Myrtle, Vetiver.
  • Heart notes: Olibanum, Cedarwood, Tonka, Pepper & Guaiac wood.
  • Base notes: Sweet Amber, Musk, Amber Wood; Pine Resin; Oud, Black Agar, Patchouli.
  • Longevity: 6+ Hours
  • Projection: 12-24 Inches
  • Ingredient Oils: Labdanum, Cedarwood, Guaiac wood, Mimosa, Myrrh, Myrtle, Opopanox, Patchouli, Pine, Pepper, Sandalwood, Tonka, Vetiver, Vanilla Oils.

Each one of our Scent Triggers has been carefully formulated to play off of and complement one another. They work great individually but also make a great team when applied one after the other throughout the day.

Out of the trio – Commitment is the strongest, deepest, and most powerful fragrance. It’s the perfect cold-weather cologne, great for those fall/winter dates when you want to get up close and personal with the lady in your life. Commitment’s strength will give you up to and beyond 6 hours of longevity – so go steady on application. I’d stick to just 2-3 sprays on each forearm and 1 spray on the back of the neck.

A bit of advice from me to you – try applying the fragrances in this order: Honor, Courage, and Commitment. However, be careful when layering Honor or Courage on top of Commitment. Seeing as it’s our strongest scent, Commitment will easily overpower them so make sure to leave 4-5 hours of separation between fragrance applications – just to be on the safe side.

How To Store Your Fragrances

First things first, don’t keep your fragrances in your bathroom – there’s a lot of temperature fluctuation and humidity in there which could ruin the strength and longevity of your fragrance. Instead, my advice would be to use the beautiful storage box provided with your three Mission Fragrance Scent Triggers and display them where you can see them every day.

Not only does this storage method keep your fragrances smelling as they should, displaying them out in the open helps to remind you of the man you’re aspiring to be and the values you want to take forward during your day.

On a final note, I always think it’s best to keep fragrances away from direct light and heat sources. Ensure you put the tops back on your Scent Trigger bottles when not in use and don’t shake the bottles under any circumstances.
